Wuthering Waves 3.0 is live. This is a landmark patch introducing a new region, new Resonators, and major system overhauls:
- New 5★ Character: Chisa — Havoc Broadblade Main DPS. Drains HP for massive AoE burst damage. Signature weapon: Ages of Harvest.
- New Map Region: "Aurora Heights" — a vertical, multi-layered zone with new Echoes, puzzles, and world bosses.
- System Update: Echo loadout presets (up to 10 per character), auto-dismantle rules for echoes, and a redesigned Forte upgrade UI.
- Battle Pass: New BP weapon series with Crit Rate main stats — competitive with standard 5★ options.
- Free Pulls: 20 free limited pulls via login event + 1,600 Astrite from exploration and events.

Based on drip marketing and reliable leaker sources, here's what's coming:
- Augusta — Electro Broadblade: drip-marketed for 3.1. Expected to be a Sub-DPS with Electro RES shred and coordinated attacks. Likely Phase 1 of 3.1.
- Iuno — Aero Gauntlets: drip-marketed for 3.2. Concept art suggests a melee-ranged hybrid playstyle with grouping/CC abilities.
- Qiuyuan — Aero Sword: expected in 3.3. Leaked kit shows a parry-focused Main DPS with counter-attack mechanics.
- Galbrena — Fusion Pistols: leaked as a Fusion Support who buffs ATK and provides off-field coordinated attacks. Version TBD.
⚡ Leak reliability: Characters that have been drip-marketed (Augusta, Iuno) are essentially confirmed — Kuro Games has officially revealed their art. Kit details and version assignments for undrip-marketed characters (Qiuyuan, Galbrena) are speculative and subject to change.

Kuro Games officially announced a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners × Wuthering Waves collaboration. Here's what we know so far:
- Confirmed: the collab is real and in development — officially teased during the 2.4 livestream.
- Expected content: limited-time event with collab-themed cosmetics, a new playable Rebecca character (free 4★), and a Cyberpunk-inspired area or domain.
- Release window: speculated for version 3.1 or 3.2 (August–October 2026), though no official date has been announced.
- David Martinez appearance: data-mined references suggest David Martinez may appear as an NPC or boss encounter, but this is unconfirmed.
